To legalize cannabis in Ireland will have two effects:
- Saving expenses releasing labor effort against drug dealers or using for other tasks.
- Increases income tax. Dutch goverment earns 400 million euros annually in tax revenues from \’coffee shops.\’

The 400 Million mentioned is only the VAT on approx. 2 bln Euro turnover per annum. On top of that, licensed coffee shops dealers pay the highest income tax tariff. So the exchequer get’s considerably more than 400 million per annum.
