“Big Business” wants to get its hands on all send and they are doing this by developing HYBRID seeds, which they then PATENT……and jack up the price.
Also a grower cannot use seed from HYBRIDS to grow next years crop !!!!!
So they seed market is controlled by “BIG BUSINESS”.
I believe that the “well irrigated fields” you saw were flooded by all the raiin during the summer ?
